Mexborough & District Lions are a branch of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest Voluntary Service organisation. The Mexborough club covers South Yorkshire's Dearne Valley area, providing help to local needs.
We give our aid to community groups, schools and health agencies and to many individuals.
Membership is open to men and women who are prepared to give some of their time and sympathy to help those less fortunate than themselves, by helping us raise money and by taking an active interest in spending the club's funds on our community's needs.
The club meets twice a month, and runs an active social side, often with (or against) other local Lions Clubs.
