The club looks after welfare needs and does its fund-raising in the Mexborough area, taking in the towns and villages shown on the map. Going round the rim of our patch, the border towns are Thurnscoe, Hickleton, Marr, Cadeby, Conisbrough, Kilnhurst, Swinton and Brampton.
Our area includes the needy from three local authorities - Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham - so we get requests for help from Social Services and community organisations in all three.
Our neighbouring Lions clubs are Doncaster on our eastern side, Warmsworth & Edlington and Tickhill on the south-east, Maltby Rother Valley to the south, Rotherham south-west of us, Barnsley on the north-west, South Kirkby north of us and Doncaster Went Valley to the north-east.
